School Nurse Supervisor (NYS Licensed, Pediatric Experience)

Location: New York City (Travel required across all 5 boroughs)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized School Nurse Supervisor to oversee and support nursing services across multiple school sites throughout New York City. The ideal candidate is a New York State–licensed Registered Nurse with strong pediatric experience, excellent leadership skills, and the flexibility to travel to schools in all five boroughs as needed.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise, mentor, and support school nurses across multiple locations
• Ensure compliance with NYS and NYC health regulations, school health policies, and clinical standards
• Conduct site visits to evaluate nursing practices, documentation, and student care
• Provide clinical guidance on pediatric health concerns, chronic conditions, and emergency response
• Coordinate training, onboarding, and professional development for school nursing staff
• Collaborate with school administrators, families, and healthcare providers to support student health needs
• Review and maintain accurate health records, incident reports, and compliance documentation
• Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling, and crisis response when needed
• Promote a safe, healthy, and inclusive school environment

Qualifications
• Active New York State RN license (required)
• Minimum 2–3 years of pediatric nursing experience (required)
• Prior school nursing or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of childhood health conditions, immunization requirements, and emergency protocols
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to travel daily across all five NYC boroughs
• Strong organizational skills and comfort with electronic health record systems
