Behavior Technician Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one on one therapy sessions with clients using ABA techniques
  • Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Collect data to measure progress
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support plans
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with families, supervisors, and other relevant parties

Behavior Technician Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including full-time or part-time options
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members
  • Ability to follow instruction, work independently, and problem solve in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information

Sunshine Care Network, a division of Clinical Staffing Resources, is seeking Behavior Techs 

Part-time (20-25 hours per week) after school, nights and weekends required,

Hourly position $17-22 per hour depending on experience and case load

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 • Establish structured, strength-based, supportive relationships with youth and their families for the benefit of the young person. Meet youth in the office, at home or in the community as requested;

• Connect youth to community resources and services;

• Provide mutual support, hope, reassurance and advocacy which includes sharing one’s own “personal recovery/resiliency story” as appropriate;

• Facilitate meetings as needed and serve as an advocate and mentor;

• Assist in navigating the service system, including engagement and bridging during transitions in care and developing skills to independently navigate services;

 • Using an electronic database, document demographic data on all individuals seen, track all services provided and monitor progress towards identified goals;

 • Complete all documentation in compliance with agency policy and funding regulations in a timely fashion. This includes, but is not limited to case records, time sheets, mileage forms and expense reports;

• Participate in all agency quality improvement activities.

MUST-HAVE:

High school diploma plus two years’ experience working directly with children and youth.

Good verbal, written and computer skills.

Valid NYS driver's license, safe driving history, and access to a vehicle that is properly insured and registered in accordance with NYS DMV regulations.

Satisfactory clearances from the Child Abuse Registry and Criminal History Information Tracking System.

Ability to work with diverse social, cultural, and economic groups; bilingual candidates encouraged.

Director of Nursing

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for planning, coordinating, leading, and evaluating all clinical services, especially skilled care, to ensure regulatory, quality and education are performed to the highest standards set by the organization. The DON oversees clinical operations, ensures standards of care and regulatory burdens are met, maintains agency care documentation, and fosters relationships with healthcare facilities and the community. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of safe and eƯective patient care within the guidelines of state and federal laws.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

 Serve as the Supervising Nurse, ensuring appropriate staƯ supervision during all service

hours.

 Supervise and manage clinical operations, ensuring availability during operating hours and

on-call support after hours.

 Consult and collaborate with the Executives on process formulation, staƯing assessments,

and implementation.

Lead clinical and field staƯ in performing their duties, ensuring adherence to agency policies and procedures, as well as establishing standards of care.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

 Represents the Agency in regulatory audits and ensures compliance with licensure,

certification criteria, and accreditation standards.

 Oversee the implementation and evaluation of Agency standards of care for all services.

 Maintains eƯective, eƯicient, and complete client care documentation in the current

system.

 Oversee the QAPI program to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits,

implementation of corrective action plans and other identified improvements with the

clinical operations of the Agency.

Clinical Operations:

 Ensure timely, appropriate admission of referrals and reassessment of patient needs.

 Develop, maintain, and support all Agency standards of care to establish the agency's

clinical quality goals and evaluate their achievement, implementing programs to support

and promote the standards.

 Implement and ensure adherence to physician orders.

 Review and notify appropriate lab results to the physician and care team.

 Maintain responsibility for reviewing Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS)

documentation for accuracy, completeness and adherence to Agency standards of care.

 Ensure timely submission of the Notice of Admission (NOA) and the validation report for

OASIS submission to the State repository.

 Manage supply vendors, create formulary, develop par and ordering protocols for all

medical supplies necessary based on patient conditions.

StaƯ Development:

 Provide staƯ development, including new hire orientation, yearly in-service education, and

continuing education.

 Evaluate the performance of clinical personnel through timely performance evaluations and

competency assessments.

 Orient and train field personnel, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, as well as

accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.

Community Relations:

Additional Duties:

Education, Experience & Job Requirements:

 Current and valid Registered Nursing license in the state(s) of practice.

 Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Masters preferred.

 Experience as a home health professional, prior experience as a field clinician preferred,

with training in health service administration.

 At least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care, hospice,

or related health industry.

 Experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, clinical training, and

evaluation.

 Current CPR Certification.

 Must be able to read, write, and speak English & Spanish.

 Knowledge of oƯice computer equipment and software.
